SCHOLARSHIP FUND 2009

 

PURPOSE
To assist the educational efforts of women, who are, or women who have been in prison.

FUNDS AVAILABLE
The amount allocated to the Sisters Inside Study Scholarship is $2000 each year. The Sisters Inside Study Scholarship Selection Committee generally awards two scholarships of $1000 each to be expended over a two year period. Sisters Inside will provide mentoring and support to successful applicants to ensure a positive outcome.

ELLIGIBILITY
The Study Scholarship is open to women who are, in prison or have been released from prison in the last 12 months.

HOW TO APPLY

    • Each applicant should complete the application form and send along any other information that helps to outline why you are applying for the Scholarship. This should include short and long term educational goals as well as any other information you consider pertinent.
    • Each applicant is encouraged to also send a letter of recommendation from someone who knows you well.
